CVT or Standard transmission

    I have a choice of a standard or a CVT transmission what do u guys think i should get?

    How come no1 wants the cvt i thought it would be pretty cool this is my first car too.

    ^I personnally like the standard bcuz I can control the gears. The cvt is great in traffic but its a personal thing for me :D. I am not bashing the cvt at all, I like the response on the upshift whereas other cvt-type trannys has a bit of a hesitation when changing gears

    You know I asked my dad for a car once and he bought me a 1966 volkswagon Bug. lol I have the CVT and it isnt that bad I really like it. I will trade up for a manual next year..

    yeah it isnt bad but atleast i got a car and im thankful for that

    8O I got the CVT because I hate MT in traffic and the speeding tickets are not my friend. I was just honest with myself. Plus the CVT is quick enough for someone like me. After racing a 3rd gen RX-7 for a few years, time to dial it back a bit :twisted:
