my guess is fed header because of your location. don't know your emission laws. if you look at RRM website it tells you were to look on your car. it will tell you if your car is a fed or pzev vehicle

is there an other o2 sensor after the one in the header??
on my car is sits a sensor after the header and one after the cat.

    pzev have 3 sensors,
    fed only have 2 sensors

i have 1 on the precat, 1 before the cat and 1 bolted directly into the cat.

Still have a SES light even with the cell eliminator, i have been working with rob from RRM over the phone for the past week trying different wiring but it just doesn't work and its getting really hard for me to do the wiring cause its getting really cold here in nj. So today sun nov.2 i tried the last wiring method if this doesn't work i will tell rob to give me a replacement. shipping from rrm sucks cause it takes a whole week, so if its not ship out on monday then i won't recieve it till next monday, things are so complicated and slow :(

third gear low power still sucks, headers is make my car rattle cause it miss aligns the exhaust. ses light finaly went off for about 100miles but now is back and will not go away, and rrm no matter how many times i call and leave my number i never get a call back

i dont know if i will be purchasing another product from them.

hey anthony, we have been working on help with all of our ability, rob and mark have been working on it and rob thinks he has the cure, i believe that u called once and left a message, rob pmed u on evom and told u to call him, we have been on top of it, so any issues that u have call after 3:30 pm talk to rob and we would be more than happy to help u. :D

the headers are great besides the rattle they have caused and the ses that annoys me. so i wouldn't completly stay away from the headers.

supposuly they have 100 + cars with pzev headers and cell eliminators out their with no issue i am so far 1 of 2 people with issues with teh light.

about the cel working on some car, we have over 100 headers out there and as stated we have had 2 cases where the cel came on, one we helped the guy fix and other other is anthony which we are working on as we speak.

i had a chance to Speak which Rob, and we have somethign planned to try to get this light to stay off, guys give me some times as it is freezing up here in jersey and i have no sunlight to work on the car untill the weekends, plus i have no garage. But i will keep everyone in touch, i also think i found out he location of the rattle my car got after the header install. i will keep up to date like usual.

Did they ever let you know or resolve the problem with the light...and why remove the headers? what are your plans or just going back to stock?

    NJ08LancerGTS Well-Known Member

no they never resolved the problem with the light so i have no trust in that cell eliminator, i was taping into wires that had nothing to do with the 02 sensors so that freaked me out alone(i tapped into wires as directed to by instructions) anyways,

Yes i do plan on returning back to stock besides keeping my hids and short shifter. I am going to buy another sports bike and i will be purchasing a evo 8 come mid to late next year, the lancer will just be my daily stock driver.

Hey NJ08LancerGTS. I was just at road race today, and talked to Robbert I believe his name is. Anyway. he is working on your cel eliminator as we speak. he got a test car just for you to help figure out what the issue is, and also found out that there could be more possible configs for the ecu mapping then what was released, even what was known by the dealer. So he is working with people to get that taken care of for you.

Now about my car and issues ^_^ so I got a piggyback now. I was thinking my next mod would be either headers or intake. I posted on another thread, but i will bring it up here, does anyone have the sri and have used an cai and call tell me what they thought the difference was. I'm curious to hear. maybe more specific has anyone had the sri from rrm and used a cai maybe AEM since that was what I was looking at but i will take any input.

    Thx guys.

i had the rrm short ram and i have the injen, and im sorry but hads not injen, you can hear a roar screaming with the injen. with rrm it had a dronning sound when crusing that botherd me and the power isn't felt up top only down low and not that much. thats IMO tho.

And about the cell eliminator ULIKEIT, I appreciate Robs work and everything bro, buts its been 3months and i always get different answers on the phone. They released stuff without R&D fully. Their is another guy out their their telling me that had the same issue but it was fixed but he doesn't know how it got fixed???

So i just got a refund and if he ever gets the situation under control then ill think about purchasing it again. Cause its not just for me its for alot of buyers.

i was wondering if this is just an issue with the pzev....are there any negative reviews on the fed headers??????

the fed header DOES NOT cause a check engine light...... we are still working on the cel for the pzev cars, the current cell works on 90% of the cars the only cars that is dosent work on are anthony's and another guy, but we stand behind our parts and we are trying to make those 2 customers as happy as possible. to make a new cell it takes 2 cars, one stock and one with header, the process takes about a week to map what the car is doing with and without the header, all the info is then gathered and processed so that we know what the correct signal needs to be to retain the stock o2 sensor balance. this takes a bit of time and money to figure out but we are working on it. :D
