Well tommorow is the day to vote. Hopefully we get a better turnout for the young voters. I would like to see what the community says and will see if our choice is the winner...

lol... odd you voted for McCain and voted no on 8 and 4.

I will be damned if my daughter is allowed to go to the nurses office at school and they are allowed to send her to some abortion clinic for an abortion and I am not told about any of it. My house my rules and if she lives under it she had better abide by it...

did you know that in our crazy ass state, once a girl is pregnant you are no longer in charge of her? i guess the law goes back to them old old time's when a girl once got pregnant became "woman" which ment she became an "adult"

and i don't agree 100% with McCain but i agree even less with Osama, i mean Obama....

i really don't agree with obama's "lets pull out" war stance, that made the biggest difference between him or McCain

No on 8, i wouldn't like it if somebody would tell me who i can or can't marry. even if they're banned from getting married, they still going to be outside kissing, holding hands, living together, and pissing off really conservative people. so i figured, just let them be

No on 7, i remember when we couldnt light up xmas lights cus the state didn't have enough power, so they bought more than the state needed and ended up selling it for pennies on the dollar. I'm all up for other sources of energy. lately i've been looking into hydrogen fuel cells, not for the car but just cus that stuff is interesting. if they're to write up a better proposition then they get my vote

No on 4, i'm not in favor of adoption but i do believe it's the mothers choice. if the state grants them "adult" privileges then it would be contradictory to turn around and say, well you need to notify 'your' parent. and i rather if they go to a decent clinic rather than a clandestine one...

I tend to agree that if you want to be gay and married sure go ahead I ain't stopping you but what I don't agree on is for teachers to teach my kid that it is okay for gays to marry. It is up to me to teach my kids what is morally right and wrong based on what I believe in. Not up to the schools to teach it...

Choice on the clinic is wherever the school decideds to send them. I could careless what the State says there adults or not. Living under my roof then it is my rules regardless on how old you are. My daughter going into surgery without discussing it with me is a huge wrong imo. If the school has to call me to give my kids Tylenol then why should she be allowed to have an abortion without letting me know?

wait so you guys don't want the government to take your money and distribute it to people who haven't done a damn thing to earn it? I like pissing money away to jackasses like that...LOL!

It is interesting, I don't think it was helped from some of the wacko posts against obama, and how some wacko people act around election time.

    But yes weird nonetheless.

They aren't calling anything until the polls are officially closed due to the problems in 2000 and 2004. Remember the 2000 election? Some news stations called the state HOURS before the polls closed for either Gore or Bush. And low and behold when the polls actually closed and everything was counted some states swung from Gore to Bush and vice versa.

Where I went in Pasadena, Ca there was a good turnout of young voters.

I got up a bit early, before I voted, to check the web to see if I can find any naked lesbian college pics of Sarah to change my vote!!! Did not find any, so my vote went elsewhere :D

i guess you didn't see the latest tv ads for the no on 8... the prop had nothing to do with the school kids, the people pro 8 were using the kid tactics to get you parents to be on their side.

    taken from ca state website

that is it. CA's attorney general does not mention kids or school in there. CA education board decides whats actually thaught or not about marriage.

same thing on 4. it's ment for
    1) keeps your 16 year old girl from getting an abortion if you don't consent
    2) if she has an accident, and doctors can't reach you, if they have to perform the abortion to save the mother they can go ahead and do it without getting sued
    3) lets you sue the pants of any clinic that lets minors do abortions without your concern...

no where in there says the school has the right to send your kid do an abortion...
