uhm write a detailed explanation of what you did because im sure everyone would be very excited if their DRLs didnt work. lol sorry idk how to fix it, but most people wouldnt want to because if u get HIDs your going to want to not have DRLs. lol
Did you forget to plug in the big harness behind the headlamp? fern and me have taken aparts his lights tons of times already, and it has happened to us... the just wont work...
No I remembered to plug in both the big one and the smaller one, but I will unplug them and plug them back in, maybe it is just not connect good. The headlights work fine though, it is just the DRL.
i should say that your lucky...a lot of us here have been trying to figure out (many have already a few havent) how to disable the drl...please let us know in detail what you did wrong and we might do the same in order to disable our drl...i mean i will do the same...
The DRL bypass is an incredibly easy circuit to construct. The schematics are on a LOT of other Lancer forums out there..
heh, my desided to start working again. I prefer my drl's to work I have to park in parking garage that requires you headlights to be on and I don't have to worry about forgetting if the drl's are working.
I think I figured out what happened and it was a big DOH on my part. The only thing I can figure is that the relay tripped and I was trying to figure out why it tripped. While I was working on the car I was listening to my stereo, therefore there was juice going to the headlights when I plugged them back in causing the relay to trip and it took a couple of days to reset itself.
EDIT.... LANCERTUNERS FUCKING RULES If you cant help with his problem, dont recommend other sites.... If you want to help, post the info found in the other site here. - ektor
