for one, they are only kinda similar. and for two, that Friggin car is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. Ford might get some respect with that sweet focus here. (i am talking about the black one in particular)

yes the black one I agree but Focus in general is not a sporty car and was recognised by Top Gear people to be quite unattractive. They made experiment and put the car directly from production (like month before giving to sales) to street and looked how many people turn their eyes on it, and can you believe.. none :D
And they said that ST is not a good name for anything as it means something from girls stuff. I am not a native speaker so I dont know what it means but you can ask :D

no hatchback is worth the money. its was a mistake of men to create such a machine but to some its the most sexiest thing on the planet

I dont hate hatchbacks. I actually admire most of em. But that focus makes focuses worse than they already are (and that says ALOT)

EHHHHH= Hatchback lancer im sorry, but all that time and money wasted on the HB coulda been more properly spent on all the other lancers (specificaly the regular ones).

I am not against hatchbacks, actually I have owned one myself. I even like the back wipers :) I just hate when producers dont even spend a minutte by drawing board, instead they copy everything from existing designs. Good example is Porsche Cayenne and VW Tauereg. If you look closely, completely the same.. And now Mazda is falling in same gap..
The reason why I love new Lancer is its design that is something new (ok something taken from Alfa Romeo) but you can see other people looking back at your car, eventhough performance does not correspond the outlooks but anyway I love it....

well there is a good reason that the Porsche and VW look alike. BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME. They are built on the same platform. I dont understand what you mean by 'gap' The black Focus ST is tight. if i saw it on the road id definately notice it. and i hate ford. but that thing is cool. i like the Lancer GTS sportsback as well.

About Porsche yes I know they are the same, but, please, if I would be a rich person I would not want to drive around in VW Taoureg :D I would rather have Bugatti or Koenigsegg :D
ok anyways, just a thought came to my mind, thought I would share. The black ford I agree would be nice to get it for a ride someday :)

could this new hatchback trend be because of subaru only making the new sti as a hatchback... thats what im thinking of... and personally i like how they look... its something diff from the ordinary..

New subaru is not the best example as even Subaru users are saying that it is crap. Not even it is a tripod on corners but compared to new Evo X it looses in all points...
