Bumper cap?

in Black? you can use Black vinyl or paint it

 

With the vinyl, it look's great, it can prevent the damage for paint. I had use it since april 07, and still looks great, some people ask me if I paint it

 

you can call the company and see if they have it in black. Or pm them, RRM is a vendor for this site.

 

dude, if you really want it black, buy the cf one and paint that one then...

Ok so i'm gonna show my ignorance and ask... which part is the cap? I know i sound like a complete idiot but this is a term i've always used for the plastic bumper. Being 31 (almost 32) i guess i grew up with a different terminology. Please help educate the old guy. :?

mks where did u buy ur vinyl.. cuz mines not as shiny as urs.. mines more of a flat black color. or did u shine it up right before the pic? lol

 

i'm looking for a flat black vinyl cover. anyone know where i can find one?

 

here is a pic of what mine looks like with the whole front done in the flat black vinyl.... i did it my self. you can have any kind of sign/graphic shop apply it for you. I work for one so i get it for free and know how to do it if anyones in the NJ area i'd be glad to do it for ya.

 

i found mine on ebay... what i did was type in 08 lancer front bumper overlay or something along those lines

we have the bumper cap on our site, we currently dont make the cap in fiberglass because most peolpe want the cf+ from far away it looks black.

 

is it be possible to paint the cap you guys have?

 

Yeah but it would be much easier to just wrap in in the vinyl instead. You would also have the option to take it off at some point. It doesn't get beat up as easily as painting it would(highway rocks and what not). Just some things to think about before you go and paint it.
