lol  gotta work with what the customer brings you. I believe that the zip ties are for a neon kit he had on the car. The turbo is a T3

wow 2500$ for a tbe, 3 gauges, a timer and a tune??????!!! sounds like bull dick gravy to me.... way to high...

me working for an aftermarket parts place i would say this:

    boost gauge: 90$
    wideband a/f: 200$
    electronic oil: $90

TBE: maaaaaybe 600$.. the downpipe would be the costly part here

    timer: 90$

tune on a dyno with O2 bung (not sniffer) 200$ at CFT or Speedclinic

thats not even close to 2,500 ;)

all those are msrp prices too.. we all know that we never pay that at the end :)

still bad arse kit... too little info tho :?

    Let's see
    base turbo kit = $4500.00
labor to install base turbo kit = $1500.00
    total
    autometer gauges
    boost = $55.00
    wide band = $315.00
    oil pressure = $65.00
    triple guage pod = $70.00
    greddy turbo timer = $95.00
hand built turbo back exhaust with high flow cat and magnaflow muffler = $800.00

by the time you add labor for the extras and sales tax you can see you are well over $3000.00 and I haven't even factored in the tuning.

I don't know about the Orlando area but down here you won't get any aem box tuned for less than $500.00, at least by someone that actually knows how to tune.

We are thinking maybe put our kits on down here and flat bed up to you
since it will only cost us $200.00 to tune.

    What??????

And what 3 gauge pod???? There isn't one on the market that even comes close to fitting. I have made a custom one, but havn't released it yet. I'm currently looking for a company that can mass produce them.

Did you look at the photos we are doing a 3 pod holder on the dash.

I cant barely see the details on the dash pod, but that picture doesnt make it look beautiful.

For tuning, speedclinic is one of the biggest and best FL tuners... thats one of the favorite places for JEster (John Estrada from Jester Tuning) and they are really flexible and affordable... in fact, they have one of the few and best NA boosted lancers around. CFT are VERY famous across USA, and they are also very flexible and affordable. 500$ for tuning, unless it is at least 8 hours on the dyno, and a tune that will last for a life time, sounds a bit pricey. sopecially when most of the tuners dont warranty your engine while tuning.. so if it happens that while he is tunning, the engine goes boom, its all on you.

1500 for installation...... wow, is that with lifetime warranty on parts and labor? I install the kit myself.. but anything more than 800-1000$ for just install, its a bit steep.... now 1.5k for install, tune and warranty (6 months at least) that sounds like business to me :)

anyways, more pictures and info would be appreciated...

in my case, i would like to know what exact turbo is that, the gauges look like autometer? meh... also, 315$ for a WB A/F its a bit high too, specially if its autometer. what BOV is that? looks like a greddy?? what about fuel pump and injectors? what about EGT?....

4,500 doesnt sound bad, and the fact that you are here in FL makes me wanna take a trip down there right now :)

also, is this a CVT or a manual kit?

The more and more I drive my Lancer, the more I think the stock clutch and pressure plate is nowhere near enough both in friction and clamping force to handle more than 200hp... It's soggy. It was like that on my last 09 GTS a couple months ago, though this one seems to be a bit better and clamps a little harder with quick shifts. It's still not awesome though.

I've never been in a car with 170lb/ft of torque that can't break the tires loose into second.

all of the gauges are autometer so the pricing is right I can get cheaper guages but I prefer to know that they are reading correctly. as for labor everyone has a different price for their time. And like I said before The tuners that actually know how to tune get more money in south Florida. You have to realise that down here not every tuner can really tune some just think that down loading a program makes them a tuner, these are the type of guy s that $150 to $200 for a tune down here. I'm not bashing you on that price as I said it might be cost effective to flat bed a car up to you to tune at the $200.00 price. I've never heard of speedclinic but everyone has heard of Jester and CFT so I'll take you at your word on the prices, although when I talked to Jester about tuning an EVO 9 MR for me before the price certainly wasn't that low.
