Anyone seen this package at your dealerships yet? I know its for the 2009 GTS but its the same as the 2008 minus the motor. All I really want are the HID headlamps from the package.

    From Mitsubishi's website:

    http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/jsp/ ... ackagesTab

    Touring Package for GTS*
Active Stability and Traction Control system (ASC) • Auto on-off Xenon HID headlamps • Rain-sensing windshield wipers
    *Available after June 2008

I would have to say yes. Due to the fact that the body and lamps have not changed from 2008 to 09. Only the EVO which is wider, also parts from the RalliArt will fit on the 2008 model.

I would say yes. Benjie and i where talking last week. When the Ralli Art comes out they will be Projector, hell it will even have the EVO X front which will fit on 08,09 models. Guys you should see the body pieces coming. Benjie was showing me the specs hell they werent even avalible for them to buy yet but they looked nice.

any info whether this will be an ADD-On package or a package that comes with the car when u buy it... meaning if u already own and 09 could u go to the dealer and ask for the packages or its only something available only if u buy the car and u can choose that as a package... if its the first option then i think 08 would be able to get it too =D

As far as we know we cannot get the "touring" package here, but you can add leather at mitsu and it will be under warrenty.

Well if i remember I will ask today. Im going over to discuss the paint quality. I got the sport or whatever Mitsu calls the lips, skirts, and spoiler. I Already have scratches on the spoiler go figure. But Im not mad at the boys its Mitsu and thier crappy paint. I just want closure lol. I will also ckeck onto the pully issue also. Stan and the guys are trully great they take awesome care of me as a customer, but damn in my opinion this paint does have some issues. Opps sorry for going off topic. I just get worked up when i think about it. My 2002 toyota echo was in ground zero when Quan hit years back and didnt have nowhere near as many scratches as my new girl does.

Well just got in Service guys are 95 percent sure that the Projection LAmps on the 09 or RalliArt will fit on the 2008. But they come as a complete kit light, ballast, and whole lamp. They are not in the system in North America yet. The cost now this is only a quote not actual so dont start houndin you parts guys approx 700 around 8ish each. I know a bit pricey huh. I will have to take a pic of the EVO in the dealership she looks so nice lol. No test drives allowed.

Hi all, I am from Hong Kong and my car comes with HID Projector standard. Have a look at my signature.

I always noticed that the headlight for North American version are a little different from my Japanese version.

i know for a fact that the evoX headlight do fit on the regular lancer (tried it with success, the price wasnt a success lol around 1800$ txs in at dealer price)

the only diference with the evo larger front end is the fenders which are 1/2 inch larger that the lancer ones . the total difference in "largeness" (sorry the word is escaping me) between the lancer and the evo on the front en is 1.076 inch.

the car "frame" is the same on both models, so the evoX front end is tottally swappable to the lancer of the 9th generation .

WOW...I'd kill for a set of those 8O. You should ask your dealer how much they are. Set up a group buy and ship it across the pond for us

I was at the dealer this past weekend to get my plates on and they had 1 in tarmac black with s/s, navi, and touring. Looked pretty good imo. the three blank buttons to the left side of the steering wheel were used by ASC OFF, and the leveling button for the projectors.

Apparently they came on the same truck as the ralliart they had gotten.

I haven't seen any new Lancers with HIDs yet out here in FL, they make cars look so much nicer. I'm sure they would be expensive to get from the factory.
