why are you taking it off?

 

IMO it looks better with it,

yes it is you have to break the seal.... a little of pressure should do the job

 

somebody suggested to run a wire at the base or sumething like it...use a guitar wire...

 

i wouldnt try guitar wire since it could scratch ur car.. whatever hapened to good old fishing line... more durable than guitar wire too

 

Yeah use fishing line in a nice hot day make it easier. But once you remove the spoiler wont you have some nasty holes to fill, buff and repaint? I also like it with out the spoiler i had the basic DE now got the GTS kit and really hate how much the spoiler blocks. But they are coming out with inserts to raise the spoiler so it should not be too bad once they are added the MR has them. But good luck with your removal.

 

Plugs sitting on top of the lid is cleaner?

hey keeeent what color is your car? if its tarmac black are you planning on selling the spoiler?? :lol:

 

i dont think it would look right,just how the wing flows on the car now,then being raised up a few more inches.....nahhhh you might as well push the car tha drive it,lol. :lol:

 

keeent,you should try to find someone with a wingless trunk the same color as your car and TRADE,so you wont have to put any more effort than you should

 

Try pulling it off using some good old fashioned strength!

I took off an EVO spoiler the same way. Besides the 4 bolts, there is quite a bit of double sided tape and/or silicone glueing it down to the trunk.

I wouldnt use wire becuase in all likelyhood you will scratch your trunk.
