Hi all. Just signed up and wanted to say hi. I don''t have any Mistubishi yet. I''m in the market for a new vehicle soon and just doing some research. Forums I find are the best place, I can''t listen to a word from the dealer. I never thought about a Lancer till I saw it today. I had an Eclipse probably 15 years ago, totally different car today. I went originally to see that but it just doesn''t fit me anymore As I was at the dealer that Evo was calling my name but the price is out of my range, but that Lancer GTS is a really nice car. So off to research I go...

welcome welcome... hands down i would recommend the GTS to anyone... if your a tuner or just an everyday commuter the GTS (or any new lancer model in thaty case) is the way to go

Thanks for the welcome. I'm not really much of a tuner type person. I've fixed up my Xterra for off-road use and I love to upgrade stereo systems. I like this one because pretty much everything is done. The only thing I will have to do is add monitors to the headrests. I haven't seen a thread yet on how to do it but it's gotta be possible.

    Welcome to the forums!

GTS is a great car with a lot of fun mods (even thought the majority of mods go with the other trims). if your plannin on keepin the body stock, with the rims stock, then go wit hthe GTS. But, if you have bodykit plans, and most likely plans for rims, getting a regular DE and saving the money on the differnece would be a plus. I realized that after i bought my bodykit lol.

But then, theres the evo..... Nuff said..

Oh heck yeah, that evo is awesome!!! Just a tad out of my price range :)

I honestly think I'm pretty much gonna stay stock as far as the body and motor is concerned. I may play around with entertainment stuff, leds, lights and stuff like that. But the big $$ stuff I'm pretty much gonna stay away from except for maybe a different hood.

If thats the case, id go GTS. GTS kit is pretty sick (front wise that is) and the rims you dont even have to change, just paint/powder coat. Check out all the progress pages to see everyones rides to see what your up for. Progress page is pic heaven.
