Does anyone else notice that your wipers go faster once you hit 60? I noticed that today when I drove home in the rain.. then spent like 10 minutes going over 60, then hitting the breaks back down to 50, just to watch the wipers change speeds... LOL.
Most cars have their wipers adjust their speeds, based on your speed. On my moms CLK, if you leave it at the delayed setting, it adjust itself every 20mph. Pretty cool shit i think. Saves me a finger click
I'm the first one in my family to own a brand new car. hahahaha so I've never noticed such thing before! I've driven in the rain so many times, not sure why I noticed it this morning... then I kept driving slow and faster to make it go cuz I'm WAY too easily amused...
I have noticed that on Intermittent settings, the first two notches are the most noticeable. They appear to have different driving speed increments at which the wipers will speed up automatically. I have not noticed anything different on the other notches of the Intermittent mode. When I first noticed it, I thought something was broken because I was driving at a continuous speed and my windshield was getting streaks because there was only a slight mist, but no enough for a continuous wiper action. I could not get the wipers to stop and thought my Intermittent wipers were not working. BTW: LuvMyLancer, glad I was not behind you during the slower/faster amusement ride. That is what little old ladies do around here rain or shine and it drives me NUTS!!!
Yeah carlos but I think most newish cars... and older german ones. I only knew of 07 Beemer 525 a friend of mine has with the auto wipers and stuff, PLUS the fact that they're rain sensitive. (just what the Ralliart 09 is bringing  )
My mom's '03 Cavalier definitely doesn't have that feature. Neither does the Trans Am but it's 29 years old and barely has wipers that work period... hahaha.
if you have the MMCS you can adjust the setting or turn it on/off. it's in the equipment menu. i think you can still adjust it otherwise, but you'll have to read your manual
