Evo 8 wheels on my gts = :)

    Hey guys just wanted to show you all how bad ass the evo 8 wheels look on the lancer. I was test fitting them today with 255/45/17's on them fit like a charm. Looks great too. Need new tires though so it will be a couple months before i put them on so im gonna get them powder coated not sure on the color yet.... Check it.

    Is that a boosted starion? *drool*

    you need suspension for the 08.... why downgrade from a 18 in rim to a 17?

    should i tell u the truth?? i would stick with the GTS.... Nice pair of wheels anywayz.. keep it up!

    they look a little small for the gts body, maybe if they were 18's. they do look nice though, even better with the powdercoating your gonna do

    honestly at first glance, the GTS with the evo VIII wheels kinda makes it look like the evo VIII.. but only at a quick glance lol

    Yeah thats my starion its fully modded too built motor and all. The pics don't do the wheels justice and i do agree the lancer needs to be lowered badly. lol. the reason i would do this is just for something different for a while atleast. I got them really cheap and tires are cheaper and you can et a better tire for less money in a 17". And not to mention alot wider too. :lol:

    i think the car look better with the 17" evo wheels, gives it a more aggressive look!

    we have the same taste bro...i have been looking around for those kind of evo 8 enkei's...its a good match when it is lowered...since i couldnt get one i decided to paint my gts rims instead...

    keep it up...

    Thanks guys I will definately be doing the tein drop asap. I have the wheels but no money for tires. The tires on it now are so worn i am afraid to drive on them. So till my tires wear out on the gts wheels i will sport them, shouldn't be too long though. :wink:

    looks great, i have 17 too and dropped, it will look a lot better once you lower it, trust me

    In all honesty, the stock GTS wheels look better IMO. Just my 2 cents

    well we will see I am gonna lower it first and then decide if i will use the evo wheels or what, not sure yet.

    tell you the truth... it looks wack haha. then again i think a few of the lancers on LT look a little wack haha sorry(not saying my car is better, but graphics on cars=wack/rice). those wheels just make the tires look way to big. not only that but of course the gap

    But the GTS rims do look better on our car.
