Just got my first service done, my dealer repair centre use Shell Helix Ultra 5W30 full synethic. So I guess I will have to use synethic in the future...

I think it was a Honda something. I will have to look when I get home.

And also its in the Import Tuner magazine with the JUN Evo X on the cover.

i guess that disproves the theory that mineral oil is more lubricant then synthetic... since the gain in HP from using synthetic i would assume to be from less internal resistance in the motor...

4.25 quarts if i'm not mistaken. I don't know the metric system so you will have to figure the conversion out. If the 4.25 is wrong just keep adding until the dip stick says it's full. :D

    Synthetic

I use Royal Purple in my car. It is supposed to free up hp and increase gas mileage, i did see an increase in gas mileage and the car does feel like it has a little bit more oomph. Check out their website and watch the tests with royal purple from horsepower tv.

There's some that are better but obviously more expensive (i.e. Royal Purple and AMSoil) but as you can see, a majority seem to be using mobil 1. like myself. I've been using it forever and have never had ANY motor problems with any of my vehicles.

btw. there was one time, i was broke but was sooooo overdue for an oil change. i got the cheap wal-mart $15 penzoil oilchange my next 2 changes. after that went back to mobil 1, no problems.

I don't mean to be rude but this topic has not only been beaten to death, but now even has its own "bible" for people to quote from. Please, please, can we all use the search key? I still remember posting a f*n long post about this topic a long while back. You remember that post Bras?
