im looking for the "stock exhaust mod" thread. i cant find it, and if you know what im talking about, please post a link for me! thanks LTers (it maybe just maybe was on another forum, but im pretty sure it was here)
i saw a stock exhaust with a large square cut out of the top and ran piping thru it from the inlet to the outlet. then they used exhaust or muffler packing inside the rest of the muffler where it was hollow. then they welded the large square cut out back on top to make it complete again, and had a pretty badass sleeper exhaust setup that looked 100% stock. it was sweeeeeet. sorry if i didnt explain it well. they had to use pictures!
idk bout u but to me that sounds retarded, if u want a "sleeper" lookin exhaust just get an aftermarker muffler, mount it sideways where the stock one was and then have piping on the outlet with a gts stock tip
