my friends nissan skyline GTR

Believe me, its not only carried here in the states. Nissan also makes the March, Cube, and other funny little economy cars that are only in Asian and European markets. No matter how you slice it its still viewed worldwide as a mass-producing economy make, that also happens to produce some decent sports cars.

But everytime the Porsche carries more kudos and stares, because well...its a Porsche. I'd rather rock a Porsche over a Nissan anyday, unless it is a Nissan R390GT1.

GTR over the porshe any day of the year. Everyone up here in Vancouver likes to buy porshes, 300c, and hummers......boring

 

wow i thought the economy was in the shitter..but i guess not with people buying up +$70k car..

+1 on everything said. Plus the GTR is faster then the 911 Porsche and New Vette according to Road & Track Mag. And its cheaper.

 

id take me a regular corvette z06 and twin turbo that bish.. for half the price of the "super" corvette

 

the new GTR's bone stock out-perform the porsche 911 turbo's in 0-60 times. As far as suspension and handling goes it might be different. I havn't read much on it. My buddy is trying to sell his audi TT and his Toyota MR2 to buy the new GTR so he knows much more than I do but from what i hear it can compete with the exotics for a fraction of the price

 

really nice car. i went to nissan the other day to test drive one. all i have to say is wow!!!!!

wow i know that im late on this conversation and for sure the GTR is smokin nice but there is no way in hell i would take that over a porsche. Now if we are talkin about a boxter then maybe hah

 

I'd agree with you guys every day. Except for one thing, If I had the money for a 911 Turbo, I'll buy it instead of the GT-R. like RedGalant2k1 said, a GT-R is just well, not a Porsche. And I've seen what you can do to a 911 Turbo with the required extra cash. I've seen it...

 

Is it REALLY limited production? Or is Nissan going to make more after the allotted amount is sold. I don't see why they would make only a limited amount.

i have a friend that works there and he told his boss he was going to put gas in the car. the dealer does require a deposit. i got around it.
