    Hey guys -

I am doing some mods on my 09 Lancer GTS. I want to convert my current lancer from a single exhaust to a dual exhaust. Couple thoughts:

    1) Will an Evo X rear bumper fit properly onto the Lancer GTS?

    2) Any good "body kit rear bumpers" that will support a dual exhaust?
    - I saw a couple body kit bumpers from accolade, but dont like how the license plate section sits so low.

    3) Has anyone on this forum already done this mod, do you have any pics/ thoughts/ suggestions on the best way to approach this?

    Thanks for your input guys....

I saw a couple pics of "evosoul" on the internet - but the rear bumper looks wierd? Does the evo x rear bumper fit on our Lancer GTS's? Any other bidykit bumpers that would support a dual exhaust set up?

If anyone has any pics, advice suggestions - that would be great!!

    thanks....

yea, thanks man I apprecite it. Yea I have seen those pics before - unfortanely they dont show whether or not they support a dual exhaust setup. I know that one does from accolade (evosoul has pics of his dual exhaust set using that specific bumper) but I think it's ugly -

do you know of any pics of people that have actualy tried these setups on there own car? Or any links of people that have some of these kits on there cars? Thanks man..... again much appreciated!

well im doing a dual exhaust setup next week, i will modify the rear bumper, will take it to a profissional garage to cut the other side of the bumper, then a custome exhaust will come 2 days after!

Thats a great idea, didn't even think about cutting into the original bumper...

    my email is: justin@venturemarketing-dc.com

Send me a few pics throughout the process and post them either to this forum or send them to my email.

What dual exhaust setup are you using? Any pics or info on the setup?

Thanks man - definately keep me posted....

i'll post photos as soon as im done with it, should be done within a week if i get time!
im not sure about the setup yet, but i think i will only replace the back box with a another one where i can install dual pipes, if i wasnt satisfied with the sound, then i will make some adjustments to that set up!
i dont want the car to go ricey loud, i want it to sound nice!

Thats sounds great - definately keep me posted!

I hear you when it comes to sounding rice-rockety... I am definately looking for a deeper more aggresive sound as well. Do you have any pics of your car currently?

Love the pic and the link to the other pics....

So in reading the other forum you had given me the link for.... the new springs you had installed - make that much of a difference huh? That sounds really great. What did the springs and the install cost you?

What springs would you recommend? What brand?

the springs made a huge difference, i love how the car handles now..
I would suggest trying the Eibach Sportline, the drop would look alot nicer in the front compared to the H&Rs, 1.7 front and 1.2 rear for the eibach compared to 1.4 front and 1.3 rear for H&R..
Mine cost me around 500$ USD with the shipping and installation, but you could do for a bit cheaper!

    awesome....

Thats great - I didn't realize what a difference springs could make in the ride of the car....

I am going to look into it eight now and my homework -

Thanks so much - and again keep me posted on any mods you are currently doing and especially with your dual exhaust setup!!

    Also....

For that brand of spring as I am looking, am I looking for something specific? And those are lowring springs correct? Or are they suspension springs - or is that the smae thing?
