so as i am still waiting for my body kit to come in before i can do anything else, my seat came in yesterday=) and i had a random group pics about a month bak and i decided 2 post some pics of it now so ill start with the group meet now for some shots of my Bride Zeta III and finally the CONS of having a seat installed with our cars its not simply of having an SRS light on its also on the display which gets pretty annoying i no their is a way of putting in a resistor but i dont want 2 risk it until its positive on how much resistance i need 2 put in, i dont want 2 risk the idea of having my airbags blown if i put in the wrong resistor i will post up more pics when i get more pics of the seat ^_^ i no its weird 2 have put in a seat so early instead of gettin rims and such but i cant do 2 much until my evo x conversion comes =\
there's a way to rewire the airbag wires or w/e to prevent that thing from coming up... one of the LT vendors did it, one of them that sells aftermarket seats, forgot who though... use the search button =)
he didn't say exactly how to do it, but he did say that he did it, so u might be able to ask him, though i don't know who "he" is... use the search function, search for like "seats" or something... u might find it
couldnt you just snap the ones out that are in the seat, not the air bags but the plugs. i know i popped one out bu accident when i took out my seats
i dont think that will work cause i think the plug is inside the seat. i followed where the plug went and i beleive its inside, but ill check again
Brian used a resistor and it wasn't on an 08 Lancer. The Lancers they have still have the stock seats.
somewhere around 1000 - 1500 roughly for everything. the brackets and rails r relitivly cheap its the seat that costs an arm and a leg
