?BRAKES?

Changing brakes so soon? Also racing brakes are the best if you race, which I suppose you don't. For a daily driver you're not gonna like them. If you want better braking there's a big brake kit conversion and you could change brake pads and get some hawk pads or another brand.

 

the lancer doesnt go that fast for an upgrade in brakes...if you get heavier and bigger rims, that would be a good idea. In the end, its what you like.

Hey bras I have the 08 DE which is the 16 steelies. I was going to upgrade to 18's but with the small amount of HP i just went to 17's instead. So im curious with that small amount of increase, and the rims are lighter than the steelies should i upgrade the size my brakes?

 

I forgot where I read this but the 16" alloy are lighter than the DE steelies and that there was a difference in disc diameter from GTS to the ES/DE. I know you will have to change your pads quicker, by how fast, not sure. How heavy are your 17s compared to your steelies? Do you have all four disc or disc/drums?

Nope back in 2 weeks and counting the days. I cant wait to get back to Canada and chill for about a month of goverment paid leave. During that time im looking to get a house and other things.
