08 - 09 sick grill

    if memory serves me right he got some chrome strips from an auto parts store and just added them on

    yeah i believe thats what he did, but something about fitting them together so you cant tell, and think its all one piece!

    yup, he bought some chrome stripping and made that grill. looks Hawt indeed

    any idea where he got the strips? and how hard it is to do

    Thanks guys. Yes, it is just simple chrome lining. I'm not sure what you have in your area, but you can typically find the Chrome at any PepBoys, AutoZone, Kragen, or other Car accessory type store.

    Simply adhere the chrome lining to one side of the stock chrome lining and end at the other side. Shave down the tips (as seen below) so it looks flush.


    Here's a crappy example of what I mean by shaving the tips lol. It's garbage but you get the idea. Process should take 15 minutes.

    Eric,

    That looks sick.. I think I'm going to do it but I'll need to take off the vinyl and paint the rest of the chrom on the grill. Once that is done I'll have to paint it and then knock out the grill.

    I wanna use vinyl to black out the front. Where in Canada can I get some?
