Looking for Exhaust and Intake for 09' GTS

    yes,true,but what i was trying to say that if the exhaust on the new 2.4l is the same type of exhaust like we have on our 2.0 08s then the exhaust that are out right now should bolt right up,and with the exhaust being 2.5 from the axle back.thats big enough for any N/A application.

    All I'm looking for is some smaller bolt on mods like exhaust and CAI and things like that and I'm making it look nice and waiting till alot of stuff comes out like Turdo's and such to save my money for.

    So as for axle-back systems go would you guys recommend the Works exhaust or the Greddy or the RRM exhaust? What type of CAI is nicest and will help the most? I know axle-back systems are striaght bolt ons but would the Injen full cat back system be a direct bolt on as well?

    So I have decided on a axle-back system for now and then possible get a different full cat-back system in a year or two when more comes out but for now which is better the Greddy or the Works Exhaust?

    Just make sure you wait until Greddy has the issue with melting bumpers solved before you buy their exhaust.

    I don't know if its just me or what but the Greddy sounds alot more ricy than the works does.

    i'd have to COMPLETELY disagree, greddy has a deeper tone, and imo a higher pitch tone = ricier...

    i'm still waiting for august to get my lancer... so hopefully it should be resolved by then :p... even then, i'd have to get some money, so maybe not till october... maybe a bday present =)... oct 25 ^_^

    yeah you'll be happy when you get it. And as for the Greddy I dont know why but for some reason it just sounded like that to me. I guess I will have to keep doing a little more research about them.

    RRM has great products they have stuff out for the 09 already. The works exhaust not to bash it but its just a stright pipe and no muffler what so ever for a price that I think is more than what its worth.

    And the RRM AB-Exhaust rusts quickly.

    Do tons and tons of researching before you buy a product.

    Exactly thats why I havent decided on a AB system yet. I have decided on the RRM SRI however but am still waiting to decide on a exhaust system.
