im going to be going with eibachs because a friends pop is going em to me.. but eibach is great name and produces a quality product the springs arent THAT low that there should be any rubbing.

You should be ok with the Eibachs, they arent that low.

I was gonna go with Eibachs but then a couple people said they're too soft? Whats that all about. :? Can anyone comment on their handling?

Oh yeah? Nice...I actually don't want too stiff a ride. Any other inputs on the stiffness of Eibach's?

Well theyre not gonna be softer than the stocks obviously. Probably around the same so you shouldnt notice a big difference in ride harshness. Obviously you will still get better cornering due to the lowering CG.

With a drop of 1.2" at the front and 0.8" at the back, obviously more weight is being transferred to the front of the car. I assume that should help in traction too.

i had pro-kit on my miata and there a bit bouncy..... if ur looking for alower drop just wait till the sportsline to come out. i think the drop is about 1.7 to the front and 1.2 in the bac

Hmm how do you mean by bouncy? Too soft?

The sport line looks good, but that drop would be a bit too extreme for me given the road conditions we have here. I would've like the WORKS kit, but $350 is a bit too much for me.

I had the pro-kit on my Lancer, the handling is good, its just that i can hear something underneath. I spoke GMX and I will just return and they will redo the mounting. Sportline is so drastic.

After talking with lots of people who are more experienced than myself and listening to you guys here on the forum iv decided to go with Eibach springs with a 1.2"F & 0.8"R. has anyone had any problems with 17" or 18" wheels with this drop?

your not going to have any problems with that little of a drop. i have about a 2.1" in the front and about 1.8" in the rear with 18s. i have no rubbing or anything
