if you want noticeable power, save money and get the CAI...

you will have more noticable power gains with the fujita because of the lack of restriction. but a replacement filter will help on gas and may have noticable power increase. K&N replacement filter if made(best bet if you want a replacement), someone has a HKS filter off ebay, works filter or the injen cai (which is great).

increase flow and power gains. a drop in saves money but you might get a quarter of the numbers as the cai. and ptuning is only 295 with the LT discount

I also had the Fujita and after 468 miles, the SES light came on.
I got my refund about 2 weeks ago or so.
I will never buy another Fujita product, ever again. Crappiest company I purchased something from.
Just get a refund and ride their a$$ until they give you a refund.
I think the only reason why Fujita is a crappy company, is because they don't have their act together.

Anyway, I received my Injen 2 days ago and will have it installed on Friday.

    no issues what so ever.
injen has been in the industry for a long time. Fujita has not been around the block for long.
just by looking at the intake, everything about it is better.
i'll let you know how it goes when i get it installed on friday.

This intake is terrible. Ive had 2 and both make the engine light go on but it dose increase performance i am able to beet a stock 09 lancer with the 2.4 but Once i get my exhaust and headers im taking my car to the dyno and adjusting the computer. With the intake installed it makes the computer read that the full air mixture is to rich. If you get your computer tuned the intake you will see a better performance and the engine light will turn off. This is my 2nd 1 ive had the original once with the lower sensor and strangely enough once it hit summer down here in Florida the light went off. Now that ive been the new intake in the light came back on. Ive noticed a slight increase in performance between this intake and the old 1.
To say the least i am truly unhappy with this intake and once the KN one is available this one will be for sale. I Would get the CAI but I live in Florida and the placement of the intake inlet makes me really nervios about water logging the motor.

I think for the most part everyone is waiting for more products to come out....like k&n and others.....to many damn problems with every thing else.....worth the wait in my opinion.

Doesn't Injen have a nice cold air intake that consumers are happy with?

Mike works great, easy install, nice performance. Never heard of any problems from any other people with it.
