fender rolling... does it void warranty? i mean.. they cant really tell unless i completely screw up in the process
Re: quick question, fender rolling /\ ENGRISH man!!! We need a translater For obvious reasons, but why do you want to roll your fenders?
HAHA yea i seen that before, he uses a stick for fender rolling?! and to fit wider wheels with gnarly offsets
not sure yet, maybe 18x9.5 +37 w/ 5zigen zr520 same wheel cept 17x9 on a evo: http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=298626 but if it voids warranty, then nvm about this
hm well those wheels also come in +47 offset, but it decreases the "concaveness" of the wheel, which is the only reason i want those wheels. but does anyone else know the warranty issue?
Yeah because isnt this more of a body modification than a performance or suspension mod? If so than I know the dealership told me i can do anything to my body and it would not void it.
Well there is still paint and corrosion warranties that typically far outlast the mechanical warranties. I believe the corrosion/rust warranty on Mitsubishi is 10 years/100,000 miles. In any case if there is no damage resulting from the modifications (fender rolling in this case), then there is no recourse from the dealership to deny warranty claims. If there is clear damage, than well, you are on your own. Also body modifications obviously will not void mechanical warranties.
