How do I go about getting that plastic look on my aftermarket Evo X bumper? I know the middle part of the bumper is not paint and looks like a vinyl or plastic. I'm basically wanting to get the OEM look. Any advice? I haven't even gotten the bumper in the mail yet. But I'm just curious is to how I can go about getting the best look. I don't want a sloppy job.
You just purchase the Front Bumper? sorry not to answer your question when it comes to paint im a noob but im also looking at getting the bumber so i have ?s :lol:
i dont know how to get it to look like if it was plastic, but you can always paint it black or a dark color.
I think my Evo X bumper sucks....It's kind of lame. Evo X bodykit = Offbrand crap lookalike I'm gonna need alittle more then some paint to fix this thing up.

mines painted.. use Duplicolor Bumper Coat (flat black paint) its pretty solid.. gives that plastic-y look
sorta off topic... how do u go about getting ur body kit painted to the color of ur car? i'm guessing a car paint shop? ne idea how a full body kit would cost to paint? (front/rear bumper 2x side skirts)
The only reason I got it was because I wrecked my car and messed up the front end. If I wouldn't have done that I would still be rolling with the stock body kit. I got my evo X kit from body-kits.com It looks alright. I was told by the installers that it was a pain to put on (they could have just been telling me that so they could over charge me)
its not a pain trust me .. theres these metal shark teeth hooks hold the bumper and the plastic part you want off if im correct thats what u want off.......just pull the hooks off carefully cuz ull need them to put them back on
