RIP Electric Blue Pearl

    That's right folks. I went to the Mitsu dealership today to check out the 09's.

    Electric blue pearl is GONE FOREVER. It's now a lighter (uglier IMO) blue called "Octane Blue"

    So... at least our cars will be unique since they only used it for a year!

    i have to get my hands on the electric blue one fast then.

    all i want to do is put my 18's on it

    Yeah bro...welcome to like, a few months ago. Not a fan of the octane blue either. It just looks way too dull, and doesnt catch your eye like our electric blues. I'm sure glad I bought one. Probably one of the biggest advantages of the 2008s!

    Woohoo!! I love my electric blue lancer VRX/GTS because it stands out so much, and if what you say is true then its going to stay that way.

    I agree that the octane blue doesn't quite match up. The electric is much more appealing. Now it's even more unique :)

    The only problem will be getting any body parts that are already painted the correct color (I'm looking for an ES/DE trunk w/o the spoiler) and I'm going to have to get it painted since fewer people will have the right color to trade! :(

    Awesome! I knew I picked the right color!

    Electron blue was a 2000 Honda color. I don't know if they are exactly the same but I loved that color car also.

    when i saw the title i thought u crashed =___= hahaha... but true the new blue isnt as aggressive or eyecatching as the old one!! lucky u guys with the blue car mines white !!

    WW is still a good color, especially for exterior mods. Black wheels. blacked out front bumper, and tint all don't quite fit on the EB (IMO). I love my EB, and I still might black out the front, but the contrast versus the WW contrast isn't as stark.

    I'm still happy with EB though :)
