when did you buy it? I've read that there are 2 versions out and the first one had probs with a sensor placement or something

maybe u got the older version with the prob... that could be the only explanation the newer batch of fujita sri shouldnt cause any prob

Even the new batch is causing the SES light issue. Fujita has stated that it's the ECU in the Lancer that's causing this issue, and that their intake is perfect. But I think it's the intake that's faulty, not the ECU.

u should either get ur money back and buy from another place or tell u to send u one from a newer batch

    I'm getting my money back.
I'm kind of interested in the Injen CAI, but I'm wondering if I will lose low-end power since I have a CVT?

ddboy - good luck getting money back.

RMS sucks very much and their customer server is the worst!

It took me about 3 weeks to get my refund after they recieved the intake back. And that was only because I was calling and bugging them every day.

Also, I had that intake and had same issue. This is why I am going to go with CAI because whoever has ordered it has not had 1 issue.

But anyways, i hope you bought with credit card. Because than what you need to do is get tracking on your return. As soon as they get it demand a refund. If you do not get it, than call credit card and tell them to take money back.

Ohh and also, that place is so bad that after i pissed them off about the refund and got it back, idiots took $30 away and said they didnt get the $30 from Fujita on the return so they werent going to give it to me. I could of kept bugging them but after dealing with such shitty service I just told myself I would never do business with that company ever again.

    Yea man, thanks.
I did purchase my intake with an ATM. I bought it from importparts.com which I know is a good company.
I feel you man. It has been nothing but headaches with Fujita.
It was a good experience though, because I learned not to trust any after market company out there.
People told that Fujita is a great compnay. Therefore, I bought the intake.

DON'T GET THE NEW BATCH!....i had the old piping and my engine light came on then they sent me the new revised pipe and the engine light came on, then i called them and they said it was our ecu that is not allowing after market intake such as there's, i was told they are talking to mitsubishi canada now about this problem...i think its the intake not the ecu, and if it is the ecu then mitsubishi is not gonna flash our cars just so fujita can sell their intakes...lots of people with the new pipe have been getting the egine light..lol so some advice is to get rid of the intake, get a refund if you can!

i think ifound the problem of the fujita SRI, the piping is the same diameter all the way while it is supposed to narrow down at the sensor surrounding area.

theres a silicone narrower sleeve that exist and it could be the solution to the problem

i cannot seem to find it for now

but you can make one out of any intake silicone sleeve the same size as the inside diameter of the pipe ,make a hole for the sensor to pass through ,install and call it a day!

you guy's with fujita problems should try it ;)
