    Hey guys,
Just thought I'd give my impression on a major upgrade I did over the weekend. I got the Injen CAI, RRM exhaust and RRM header installed at once (along with window tints). Incredible difference!
What's most noticeable when accelerating after a full stop is that engine hesitation is much less perceptible (disappeared, even). That's a bonus I wasn't expecting.
The sound of the exhaust (probably combined with the header) reminds me of my former 2003 Eclipse, but just a tiny bit louder.
All hell breaks loose (well, as much as hell can break loose with this type of car) and the car really roars over 4000 rpm, when MIVEC kicks in and the CAI really starts pumping the air in. All in all, I'm very satisfied with these mods.
Just sharing this with you and those looking for upgrades and/or these parts.

Here are some quick pics and videos:

    Awesome... sounds great.

Question: do you have to take off the bumper to get the CAI installed?

You don't "have" to but we did (following Injen's instructions). Some people got around that by removing the driver-side wheel and the front plastic cover of the wheel pit.

Tight, to say the least, but it fitted nicely in the end.

Yes, yes, but you can feel a little surge of power around 4k, as explained here. But I agree with you that I should not have put it this way.

Does a CAI make a noticeable difference in HP and or MPG's?

Dumb answer would be 30HP (adding up the numbers marketed by the manufacturers). Although, I believe it is more realistic to say around 15 HP (optimistic guess at 18 HP).

Nope, just a regular Casio 6MP. It does nice pics. Recommended by several reviewers.

I wouldn't know about the CAI alone, but the setup does make a difference in HP. I still haven't emptied a tank on this setup, but up to now, I can see a slight difference in MPG (L/100km here in metric). I'll be more able to post better impressions on this in a few weeks.

The thing is that I'm currently equipped with winter tires and the roads are still wet from snow and ice. Not a good idea to push the car in this condition. Those pics and vids were made quickly as to provide a first impression. I'll post more comprehensive pics and vids when the roads are clear and the car is equipped with summer tires in late April or early May.
