my HIDs were 80 bux shipped... they have been on 24/7 for 7 months now i just bought a pair for my gf for 76 shipped with insurance.... they are all the same after all
did you need anything else to install them? also, i've never done this before...is the instructions pretty dumbed out for me? lol
yeah it is but your going to have problem with the DRL's of course i install them and it wasnt long so yeah
The instructions i got were brutal. They were translated (very badly) from chinese to the point where even the illustrations didn't make any sense. but i fought through it and came out on top. lol
mine would be awful, i just kinda tried everything until it worked so... i ended up just plugging the HiD into the ballast and the ballast right into the stock headlight connector and it works. It came with a relay and some fuses and the wiring to wire it straight to the battery but i dunno how that all works. ps: if anyone reads this and knows how to help me, pm me PLEASE
That sounds somewhat similiar to the kit I got from MobileHID. To keep the DRL function, it uses the harness that comes with the kit and connects the ballast to the battery. This circuit only gets activated when the relay allows it. The tricky part is trying to decide what you want to activate the relay with. Like I said before, I had to keep the DRL function, so I had my relay spliced into the accessory line. So when you turn on the ignition, the relay gets activated and HID's are on, acting like a DRL. If you dont want the DRL feature, you can splice the relay into the parking lights circuit.
