Evo X compatible parts

I think if you do some research youll find your answers.

But as far as I remember, they are pretty much the same. Because a company is selling the evox kits for our lancers.

 

I bought a Evo X e-brake handle from mitsubishi. I think there are quite a few things that are interchangeable.

 

i'd also tihnk it'll be cool if there was a complete list. i went to see the evo x a while back and i love the hood too. when i looked at the rear though it seemed wider than the 08 lancers. if only i asked for the brochure.

 

if you're thinking of replacing yours with the factory evo x hood, it may not fit. the evo hood is higher towards the back. the ralliart(when it comes out) hood "may" fit as its body resembles more of our lancers.

 

yeah the hood may not fit but if you would go to accolade.com they have a complete evo x body kit with the hood and so on for the lancer

 

Just because companies sell body part "kits" for a car from another car, doesn't mean that the original part of the car (in this case the evo x) fits in our car...

also the interiors, other than the the steering wheel and the shift knob area, are the same as the de-gts with some lil bitty details here and there that arent even worth it... MAYBE the seats, but ive only heard bad things about it...

the only thing i want from the evo is the projectors+hids, the enging and the tranny

 

of course it doesnt mean itll fit perfectly but im sure wit some modification itll fit and im sure he doesnt expect to put a kit on or whatever part his looking for and expect to just slap it on

 

u can only tell if it'll fit by trying it =D if somebody got a friend with an evox and would kindly ask the friend if they could test for the hood... =D that'll clear out alot of questions

 

i believe the EVO X hood will fit our cars. i was at RRM and they were test fitting a cf hood that they made for our cars (the hood i have) on the new EVO X GSR and everything lined up great.

the only problem is that a regular Lancer hood will not fit the EVO X because of the turbo pipping that comes over the top of the radiator. so RRM has to make cuts in the cf hood to fit the EVO X.

so the EVO X hood will fit our car, but not the other way around.

 

well tahts good to hear nemo... but i dun think any evo would want our hood hahaha

 

hahaha, yeah no doubt but just wanted to let everyone know. especially that young kid that is going to crash and try to be cheap and buy a lancer hood for his evo, lol. sick sleeper but wont work.

 

great info nemo, now the only thing that'll suck is the price for the evo x hood. wasn't the evo x wing alone over a grand? can't imagine the price for the sexy hood. and for those who mention accolade and the "evo x conversion kit", i dont dare buy it since i havent seen any pics of it and they never updated it at all since.

 

i seriously dun trust accolade... lol they photoshop half their product no update nothing i mailed them twice never had a single reply sighh and if anybody is looking for evo part a good way to find some it go to evolutionm.net and ask in the general section alot of the evo are going wingless so you could ask them for the wing.. i had an offer of 850 shipped for the wing but ill see if i get better as for the hood companies are coming up with cf hood for the evo so if u want the oem maybe u should ask around =P just a small tip :lol:

 

yeah, i hit accolade up as well as my body shop and we never got a reply either. i was going to get their rear bumper but they lagged it, so they lost out on a good customer. no communication = no buy. they wont be around long if they keep this up.

 

I recieved an e-mail back from them within 5 min. I wanted to buy the evo x hood from them along with the evo x spoiler. Oh and with regards to the RA hood, it is the samething as the X. Here is the e-mail I got from them
