I was looking into purchasing a Lancer GTS either a 5 speed or CVT but the dealers in Maryland want 22k for a stock CVT GTS. How much did you guys pay for your rides and where did you purchase them at?
Jesus, all the dealers around NC, GA, and TN all are asking msrp, but the trick is you have to find a GTS..... pick from an awesome assortment of two... haha
i got the gts with out the navi but with the sun and sound package and paid $20,215 in july but no one had a gts in new york let alone the color that i wanted (electric blue) i had to go to new jersey by the delware water gap like 2 hours away to pick mine up,and all the dealers said that they would have it in the middle of july i gave them all my number and no still has called me back to say they got them in here.....we are almost pushin semptember and no call ,so if they r hard to find by u jump on it cause they goin fast
Today I received a rebate slip from Antwerpen Mitsubishi and Best Buy so that I get an $8,000 rebate on any '07 or '08 Mitsubishi car or Truck. I thought it was a blessing until I called. Apparently 8k off any car or truck only applies for the Raider truck. Antwerpen Dealer ---> :violent3:
Btw since it's gonna be a "family" car I guess I'll go with the CVT. But no one else is getting behind the wheel but me.
I'm in NH and I got my GTS CVT Electric Blue witouth sun/sound/navi for 17,300. Not bad since they wanted 21k on the sticker
Want to know why its hard to find a GTS.......probably because of all the issues. If I was you, wait to buy one until the bugs are fixed. I currently have a GTS with a pulling to the left issue that basically both the service dept. and engineering told me they don't have a fix for. So I'm sure their production has to be down because I'm not the only reported incident. I'm looking for replacement or my first choice of them buying it back and moving on to something else without the bugs or has been out for a few years and have the bugs worked out. GTS is a nice car......but too many issues right now.
The pulling issue only applies to the GTS or all the models? Would you be able to feel the car dragging left during a test drive or does this issue arise over time?
Trust me, there is several out there that pull to the left, not all of them, but there is alot. You might not be able to tell right away is the problem. It took a few hundred for me to really notice and its been there ever since. Just get on a flat road and kinda let go of the steering wheel, kinda just have a finger on it and see if it pulls. On mine, if your not holding it, it will just go left real quick, its very obvious and the service dept. has agreed with me too. And this is a open issue with Engineering due to the amount of reports across the country. And by the sounds of it, its mainly the GTS, but I'm not for sure on that.
I probably going to go test drive one within the next few days. But with all the issues I'm hearing of I starting to shy towards getting an ES. I also called and complained to my dealer about my rebate situation and they said I would be eligible for a $5,000 best buy gift card and no payments for 90 days. I have until September to make my decision.
i got my lancer gts for only 19,200$, but theres no sunroof, gps, or 650 watt sound system, still a good deal i think^_^
i got mine for 24k out the lot , GTS with sun/sound Nav it also has the smart key or fast key whatever u want to call it i love it....Is Electric Blue, and i live in orlando they are not making a lot of GTS because of the rims or something that's what the dealer told me that something happen to their factory in Tokyo if im not mistaking...
