When will the 2009 gts be available to buy?

To be honest i would think sometime soon it might depend on your dealership. I went to mine the other day and they already had the 09 galants so im guessing not much longer

 

The guy at the Dealership I go to in Toronto said MAYBE September. That obviously wasn't guaranteed though.

 

I drove an 08 last week, and the power actually wasn't that bad. Yes, it could be better (I'm coming from a v6 grand am), but for normal everyday highway driving it's decent. Now if they have the 09's out when I go to get mine and there is more power, of course I'll go with that.

 

Why not get the RA when it's out? Alot more power and is just like the EVOx but with less power and a couple of other things.

 

gts 09 september O__O no way ... my dealer said march but didnt give me a specific date he also said that they're already done the production for the 09 so i guess only need to ship it

 

around how much would the 09 GTS be? does anybody know? for around 25K you can get an RA so might as well get the RA.

Salesman "Well we already sold most of our inventory, We're making space for the new 09's"

talked to my salesman today. theyll be getting them first part of april. havent heard back yet as far as price for the GTS (with Xenon option of course).

ur paying about 750 more but then again, ur getting in the '09 that you wouldn't get in the '08 w/ the same package...

i didn't see the xenon option on there.. are they standard?

I wish i would have waited for the 09s, i like my car but if it had the 2.4 i'd be much happier with it.

 

damn, i'm yealous of american prices, i mean, i payed 21500 € for my lancer,
although i'll have the bluetooth, woofer in the trunk, 6cd changer, so thats 32250 dollar for a gts in belgium

 

the difference from the 2008 and 2009 is 4mm in the piston
2008 have 152hp and 2009 have 172hp
i will prefer to buy an intake, bosh +4 platinium spark plugs, 8mm spark plugs cable, catback, and maybe a fuel regulator and i will have more than 172hp...
and i you guys don`t know the 2.0 resist more boost than the 2.4, because the pistons are low compression :lol:

Some dealers already have them out and people already bought a few.
