its just plain black? i mean if u want plain black dash go for it but if ur really looking to customize it why not paint it? that can be a lil more expensive but i think what ur showing might be worth it. what matters most is that u like it, everyone els comes 2nd. and what i mean by paint it is the interior not just the dash, like a custom color. i plan on painting my lancer burnt orange so i also want the inside a burnt orange, well when i get my lancer.... 8)

thats the metra kit...i'm pretty sure i contacted them and they don't actually have the kit in stock. It's on backorder for everyone but it seems more and more like Metra hasn't had any made up yet. I havn't heard of anyone actually having one so for them to be on backorder is a little strange...but not Metra is saying if your ordered one 2-3 weeks ago that it should be in within the next 1-2 weeks....thats some Bullsh!t
Its definitely been made, I own one and have it sitting next to me with pioneer head unit in it waiting to be put into my car. And I actually ordered it from autotoys.
I'm having this same problem. Should I wait for the metra or get the one from autotoys? I'm wanting a quality product but I'm tired of waiting. I've got a nice Nav unit just collecting dust because I don't have a dash kiit. I was also wondering if we need to get the wiring kit to keep our factory amp. I had saw that on autotoys and didn't know what to think about that.
the one on the autotoys site is a quality product....in fact its the only kit thats out right now with the exception of Mitsu's double-din/$300 kit. But like i said before....im pretty sure autotoys is sold out too
I don't understand the delay...I got mine last Tuesday and have had it istalled for over a week now. Guy said they had 9 in stock when I ordered mine and that by the end of the week he would have over 50. did you all try installer.com or installers.com ? I forgot which one it was. The Metra face kit and the wire harness cost me $55.
