Got an e-mail back from Mitsubishis rumered turbo.

WE do not offer a turbo version of that vehicle. We will soon be offering a turbocharged and all wheel drive Lancer Ralliart.

Perhaps you might contact RoadRace/// Motorsports to see if they can help you?

I like the older evo more than this new X. The X just dosnt have the feel of an evo for me.

the rumors of mitsu selling a turbo kit for the lancer never made sense for me at all... but i guess people needed somebody else to say NO about it to realize it makes no sense... first of all, when has mitsu done that? i dont car about scion with their supercharger or whatever brand.... it just doesnt happen with mitsu... you think that an engineer is gonna spend time and his knowledge to build an NA car to then ruin it with a turbo kit... they would have to cover it in the warranty and with all the people that dont know about boosting, or all the idiots that think they know and then break the engine and blane the POS kit and then claim their "warranty"... thats too much liability for them....

yes i agree that its a good marketing strategy selling the car NA and then coming with a forced induction kit later for it, but thats not how mitsu rolls'

It's not that it didn't make sense. If Mitsu wanted to break into the aftermarket with their own stuff they are free to do so. It's almost a standard practice now. Scion and Subaru do a lot of their own aftermarket products. It's just a shame that they are not really planning on it. Sometimes rumors are started to get the manufacturer interested, I am sure they are aware of our demand.
