    hey guys

If anyone read my other thread which got deleted with the server crash, I promised pictures of the grill being removed, well I was smoking something that day cause I took it off for pic and it looks like.....shit without the chrome piced or the grilll.

    Here are the pics

    gts013.jpg
Theres mad junk in between as u can see
    gts015.jpg

I was thinkin about just taking out the black mesh and painting the chrome...but theres holes in it so it look fugly
    gts014.jpg

I decided to start taking shit apart and se if I could remove the lower half of the grill...cause that would look much better. it was a bitch to get to but there are two screws that u have to unscrew from the inside...then I sat there scratchin my head for abomut 10 min tryin to figure out where the other screws are...they were hidden out front...Theres 2 plastic pieces that pop out in fron top of the mesh
    gts016.jpg
take a ratchet...and pop those out....
This is where I hid a standstill and this is where I call out for some help
I cannot find the other screws nor can I find clips to pop it out...I didn't have my jack so I couldn't get underneath the car. I did this all with a mirror and a small screwdriver...I lowered the mirror down and moved it so it reflected so i can see where I wanted to see

    Can anyone help me out?

well i took out my plastic mesh on my grill and put in polished silver mesh like the evo it looks sexy.. basically you have to take off the whole front section of your car and from there you can take off the plastic mesh pieces. it took me and my buddy from start to finish about 3 hrs and that was just taking our time.. if you need anymore help send me a msg and ill try to explain it better

    P1000235.jpg
wheel well 2 screws on each side must b removed
    P1000237.jpg
one top bolt on upper inside wheel well on each side
    P1000238.jpg
must remove black cover and intake tubing, then there will b 5 bolts under that u must remove
    broken.jpg
under the body ther are 5 more bolts to take off and a whole bunch of plastic clips, remove everything holding on the nose and just play around with it and make sure its not connected and tug on the wheel well area of the nose and itll pop off, do that to both sides then if u have all the screws off the front of your car will look like mine.
    P1000239.jpg
cut the mesh or w/e u stick in there and just play around with it. i did my two center pieces silver mesh from pep boys the side ones are still enwork. ran outta time and didnt haveany ideas of how to make the mesh stay so that will b in the future
    Finished.jpg
    good luck

well the mesh was 40$ for a rectangle of it and u need 2 of them to do just the front and lower like i did and if you want to do the sides you will need another one.. but i was at home depo and they have the same fucking mesh for like 5 dollars for huge thing of it.. back by the fencing shit.. polished tin or something
