So i just bought my car yesterday and noticed the speech, hang up, call buttons i looked at the manual but it says to press the speech button and say setup but i do that and nothing happens? can anyone tell me how they set theirs up?
theres 3 buttons, one is to activate the hands free system, the others are to answer and hang up. press the first button that activates the hands free system. it should make a beeb and say something, it tells you to say setup if you want to set it up, but wait for the second beap then say setup and it should take you threw the steps.
is it possible for the car to come with it in the steering wheel and not in the car? cause i pressed it and nothing happened i held it and nothing happened i pressed it acouple tiems nad nothing happened
it's not hooked up. you need to go to the dealer and they'll install the transmitter that connects with your phone. Sucks, I know, I had to do the same and it wasn't cheap.
yeah im not sure - i thought you had the MMCS with it, i didnt know the bluetooth buttons came on lancers without the MMCS.
well i got the ES basic no options the paper that was on the window says *Prewired for bluetooth [Additional Equiptment Required] DAMNIT!! whats the point of putting it on my damn steering wheel then haha =[
mine was the same thing, when i first got my ES i sat in my car for like an hour trying to figure out what the problem was, lol.
lmao, assholes!! ahh i dont wanna comeup with250 i rather spend that money on a subw00f[/quote:1c9u2z0l] yea man i was pumped about the bluetooth,"OMG I HAVE BLUETOOTH IN MY CAR!!"lol but then you're like damnit i dont have bluetooth...
i set mine up with my key turned to ACC... i pressed the middle button and the voice had came up then you say setup and follow the directions...
i think if it says it comes with then it DOES come with. have you checked your phone? i tried it when i got my car and nothing happend then i got a new phone and the car picked it up. turn your car and leave it on park, press the button and follow instr.
If you DO decide to get the Handsfree, make sure you have quiet time to set it up, and free time. It'll ask you to set up, then you have to take your owners manual and in there is a huge list of words you have to say, including numbers, etc. It took me like 45 minutes I think to set it all up. Once you've done that, you can add names and numbers. But even then it's picky... ie I said "Call Mom" and it says "Call Kyle Warner, is that correct?" I'm like "NOOO" and then it doesn't respond because it doesn't understand sarcasm or anger... LOL!
DAMN F00L!!! i so much rather go to contacts on my phone scroll to who i wanna call, put it on speaker and leave it in my lap -$250 hahah i gotta figure out how to take the little controls off my steering wheel then cause it'll just tease me lol
Chics dig the Bluetooth voice recognition system though My phones usually in my pocket though so they think its some sort of carphone when you start reading out a number.
