EVO X UPCLOSE & PERSONAL

All i know is that, for an engine putting out ~280whp stock, and you slap some bolts on like a tbe, a better fmic, hot side of the turbo and some other stuff and is now doing ~340whp, it got a real good potential... i say it with confidence because the 4b11t from the evo is looking a lot like another engine that mitsu made and it has been one of their best engine: the 4g63 (the original 6 bolt one, not the mivec crap)

maybe after all mitsu did good in changing the 4g63 for this engine? maybe i am wrong and it will be a POS that will die soon? who knows... this is a new engine in this market that nobody has really researched on it and got 100% out from it... so nobody can really tell... this is just guessing from everyone...

 

I talked to the owner of a company that dynoed the X and only pulled a 240 to the wheels. Thats not that impressive for what they are asking for in price. I could take that saved money and dump it into my GTS now and school the X all day long.

so with that money you can turbo your car, make it awd, a widebody, racing seats, big brake kit to? also dont forget the clutch and engine which will need to be upgraded, and all the other little parts that werent meant to take that much power, i bet with a turbo kit at the track a gts still wont touch a stock evo, one reason, awd, they are making more power than the ix with the same or less parts, sorry for the rant but i cant stand when people hate on something so amazing, this thing pulled 1g on the skid pad lol

 

also a little over 31000 starting is overpriced ?

^That's because those rims are MR only. Similar to how the GTS has rims that no other Lancer model has.

Those MR BBS rims sell for $800 a wheel BTW.

 

So the other day i was at work and i walk to the parking lot to get my gloves out of my car. As im walking back i see a pretty(yeah i said pretty 8) ) ass white car i wasnt paying that much attention but as i look closer i see the hood & the fenders yeah it was and evo x well i get done admiring this guys car at this point im jealous. so of course i want to see who drives it. it turns out to be like a 68 year old guy i was pretty upset lol

 

you can now get an evo x for under 31000
