dont know if you guys have seen this already... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KLHCsEuxw8 they said they will release a manual version of the RA...I guess thats the one I should be waiting for...
did you listen closely. They said it will be 235hp and in the mid $20k. Available in 5speed and paddles.
235 hp?? I was told by my dealer they are sayin 175hp for the ralliart which is a hug dissapointment. Also sayin the sticker is about 32k in canada. Thats starting price so considering the options it comes with, im saying MEH. Thats basically tackin on 10grand for the turbo and 4wd. I suppose the 4wd is prett involved but i think id much rather spend 10 grand on options and a similar turbo for my gts. I was going to upgrade to the ralliart but i dont think so anymore. Only thing worth the upgrade would be the EVO but at 42 grand for the base i think its outta my price bracket. Too bad
i guess every dealer have different price tag...here in san jose, according to my dealer the base evo x will come at 29k...so if the RA comes, I'll just proly get the base trim of it, its good enough that it has a turbo and an awd system on it, i dont see the point of gettin a RA or the evo with all the optional package on it, makes it more expensive...
Re: 235 hp?? you should already know that's incorrect..the RA won't have 175hp so I doubt he knows what hes talking about, typical dealer BS
you guys should watch more history channel...there was an episode on modern marvels about horsepower where it came from and how it was rated on engine motors and a society called the s.a.e. (i think)...so this society are the ones who overlooks any engine tests on many major car companies...car companies cant say the hp of their engines without these guys observing the actual test and approving it...so whatever mitsubishi motors (not the dealership ones) say about the hp of their cars, thats true...when they say 235hp, its 235hp...
