    Ok, I should probably know the answer to this....but is this strut for the rear or front?

    it looks like its the front i may be wrong

    it looks like the rear to me.just look at the bottom of it.single bolt proly most likely holds it.

    Yea that's exactly what I was thinking.

    These are the front and rear pictured together, so I can only assume that the strut in the background is the front:

    yeah thats the rear....front struts usually have two plates....one on top and one on bottom if im not mistaken

    thats a rear for sure

    i change my own springs so i know what it looks like

    it is the rears, the coils on the springs makes it apparent.

    Hey, I'm going to get these KYB struts from RRM since they'll give me the best price. What about the shocks though? I'll need those as well, so can anyone recommend somewhere that's got OEM springs?

    That is definetly the FRONT! The single bolt that sticks up at the top is the bolt you see under your hood right near your strut bar! Take a look for youself. It is definetly not the rear

    ^^^no its the back i thought the same thing its the back cause theres two bolts at the top that bolt to the car when front have three bolts at the top so do some research i did

    yeah we do, and it is the rear cause i actually checked. So don't try to hard to put other members opinion down so quickly.

    Final verdict is the pic is of a rear strut!

    WTF!!! I sure dont...I like talking out of my ass!!!!! Be careful, what you say. We all have different experiences with modding and to generalize what you said will cause some unkind words to you.

    If you look at the fronts, as blacksheep says, there are three bolts plus the spring itself would be bigger. As for the rears the springs are thinner. But wait, I have no idea what I am talking about.

    I would suggest kybs as well, also try speedcorps.com
