Just an FYI, for those who want to change the front turn signal light from the amber bulb to a xenon bulb, you can use a 7440 wedge bulb. I installed a pair of xenon 7740 for the front turn signal and they look damn sexy! Next, I going to install HIDs.
This first one was taken with my digital camera. These were taken with my Moto SLVR. sorry for the bad quality. I'll try to take better pictures of them at nite. But hopefully you get the idea.
I installed some xenon bulbs on my Maxima for the clearance light and the turn signal. I've had them on for a few years. I haven't had any problems with the police. But I also had the Xenon headlights to match them. The blue you see in the pic is the blue led city lights I had on my Maxima. As for the Laner, I don't think that they should be a big deal with the police (at least I hope won't be) because they will only be on when I use my turn signals. I don't think that they will stand out as much once I install the HIDs and the xenon fogs. I guess that I'll just have to wait and see.
anyone know the size of the bulb behind the gauge/instrument panel? Im thinking of getting color bulbs to change the color of the gauges but i need to know the bulb size!
Every state requires an amber turning light that shines toward the front of the vehicle. Either the lens or the bulb must be amber/orange in color. You WILL NOT pass a state inspection. Automoglow: You should be able to change the gauge color but it won't change the middle digital color. I'm not a big fan of the orange. Especially with a blue car.
Well if someone can find out the buld size for the instrument panles and the gauge i should be able to get some bulbs to change to color.
