Lambo Doors on 08 Lancer

LMAO, im not feeling it but if we all did leave stuff like this to the cars they actually came on, then their would be no one tuning their cars. hence; if we cant afford a GTS, why buy GTS parts? right, just like if we cant afford a Ferrari, why put MOMO stuff on our cars (nothing against you Phil, just using an example, lol) and if we cant affod a Lambo, why put the doors?......

IMO, this is like saying "i you cant afford a fast car, dont make a slow one fast?" or "if you cant afford a good looking car, why make it good looking?"

im not talking shit to anybody, just making a point and im hating all this hate on people for other people not liking their style.

I dont put MOMO product on my car to immitate a Ferrari.
I put them on cuz they are high quality made parts and I can afford it.
Thats why they dont say Ferrari shift knob. It says MOMO which for one I am supporting my people and two they are an after market company that is contracted by Ferrari to supply them with some accessory upgrades.

As far as support. Hmmmm! Well I support any 1's ability to customize, but at the same time i reserve the right to ridicule in any manner I see fit. In turn I also will praise some one in any way I see fit as well.

one disgusting thing about this is that the rear doors open normally. open them all 4 doors and this car would look like a transformer that failed to transform completely :!:

 

i hear ya, but for some poeple to use "if you cant afford it" thats ridiculious, cuz no one here can afford any exotic and like i said, if your going to use this b/s excuse to rag on people, look in the mirror and make sure your not doing the same. i have yet to hear about anyone thats has been saying the famous "if you cant afford it..." have a dope car that doesnt have any upgrades!

personally, i dont like the lambo door thing. i just hate when people are talking sh!t and they are doing the same thing just in a different mod.

as for momo, i know about them and what they do. but thats like saying Mugen is just contracted under Honda to do their parts, Shelby and Seleen is contracted under Ford, RalliArt contracted under Mitsu......i think you know what im saying. they are all after market companies and they make various parts that will fit on a various amount of cars. This is all like saying if you cant afford to buy your car with all these after market parts, then your cheap......right? wrong, this is why tuning is such a big thing and why alot of people, older and younger like doing this.

but to close everything up, Lambo prolly didnt even make those henge's......it was some after market company that did.....HENCE; they are not LAMBO doors, they have LAMBO STYLE to them!

Excuse my ignorance, cause i dont know alot about this topic, but im just using common sense..... i have NEVER seen or heard about a mugen fitting a Toyota, or a ralliart on a ford (except for a few ricers around ) but i have seen a SHIT load of momo parts in many many cars, and they are actually made FOR that car. that tells me something.... that tells me that TRD making parts for Toyota are the proprietary company of toyota, and mugen for Honda etc.... momo sells many parts to many brands to exclusive fits.. that means one of 2 things... that they are just a high quality aftermarket parts developers, or they are the proprietary Ferrari company that were smart enough to make parts for other parts and not brand their name to a point that when you hear momo you think about Ferrari, like when you hear saleen you think about ford....

this wasn't another hairy can of beans to be open, this was just an observation and common sense.....

actually it was 4 engineers that contributed to the making of Lamborgini and 1 of them did have that design b4 they even started the production of Lamborgini. Just FYI!

This whole Lambo thing strikes a nerve in me every time. So I do apologize about the "AFFORD Thing", but not the rest.

Oh and tuning referres to the performance end of the sport. Lambo doors would fall under customizing. I know its like a double edge sword, but a true tuner would never think about doing something to a car that isnt performance orientated.

Cuz I am no way a tuner. I am a custom car builder. AKA: Customizer.

I think the definition of tuner is a bit skewed these days. For example, this website is called "Lancer TUNERS"...but really, we have yet to see anyone actually in a shop tuning their car. The closest person who can tune right now is Bras with his new suspension, but even he has yet to hit the track enough to tune the suspension to his needs.

Talking about adding an SRI, bolt on exhaust, pinstriping, body kit, wheels, powder coating, or any of the things discussed in this forum is just modifying the car, there is no tuning involved.

Lets be realistic here none of us are tuners....we are modifiers, or as phil put it customizers.

 

They look Cool in my opinion
