What I am curious about is do we need to buy any kind of dash covers at least for the top? I know some older cars have problems such as the top cracking due to all the heat comming from the sun so I am curious if we need any covers or is our material made to not crack? Cuz my mom owns an endeavor and her dash wont crack cuz of some special material its made out of.
I never heard of this, can u explain more? Hopefully all this cracking happens before our warranty ends lol
Okay well here is an example. On our old galant we didnt have one of these and the top where the sun usually hits started to get cracks in it because of all the heat. So i am curious if this will happen with our lancers or is it crackproof material?

In all honesty, I'm no expert, but the material seems very hard and thick and would probably hold up to the extreme heat. I guess we could only tell in time.
IMO i think that our lancers have the hard material instead of the leathery material most older cars have. the creat bubbles/cracks. If you are really concerned about it give ur dealer a quick call or email them, ill email a dealer around here and see if he can give me a sure answer...even though there idiots. lol good luck!
I talked to my dealer. We're all friends and they assured me that there shouldn't be ANYTHING to worry about. By the time any cracking would occur anyways u could more than likely find a replacement on Ebay for like 20 bucks haha.
