alright i really dont want to keep looking up these words because im lazy as hell so can anybody tell me what all of these terms stand for and what they do. Please post. heres my list: ECU DRL HID AFS SRI CAI SEMA RRM
ecu - engine control unit drl - daytime running light hid - high intensity discharge afs - ? sri - short ram intake cai - cold air intake sema - specialty equipment market association rrm - road race motorsports
thanks for that i didnt know i still havent introduced myself maybe i should get to that part before posting info or advice to people ha
isnt HID High Intensity Diode as in similar to LED Light Emitting Diode considering they are more or less the same thing except the HID has a huge amount of power going through it.
afs could also stand for active front steering in some cars... also... HID is High Intensity Discharge - a form of lighting that works on the same principles as fluorescent lighting in homes/offices etc. cheers
sorry to jack your thread man, but i think this might help also...enjoy!
