hello all, jim from jersey here. i've been a member of a couple of other mitsu sites, but those have become a bit silent over the last couple of years regarding lancers, except for the late-model outlander owners who post an awful lot. i've owned a '93 expo awd recently smashed by an unknown garbage truck, or so we believe, after number 2 son parked it at his friend's place; an '06 outlander totaled by a hit-and-run while being driven by number 2 son, and after the insurance payment bought an '11 lancer gts hatchback...my first ever fwd after two awd's. (only because the evo was too much, and the outlander awd only has an auto trans, which i do not like....something uncommon amongst old farts like me in this traffic-heavy area.) ok, off the soap box; no mods on the gts other than cutting a big slot out of the air diverter to let more air in the intake snorkel. though i've never had problems with the cone filter intakes in my previous mitsu's, with nj now using the ca emission standards, i'm more inclined to get hold of a ralliart snorkel and a kn drop-in filter to keep the oe airbox, though takeda's looks pretty good. signing off now....
