I'm a newbie from the Caribbean just saying hello.

    Brief bio: Married... four kids (29, 27, 6, 3)... 5/6-car family (1 parts car... 2 "daily drivers"... 3 project cars)... self-employed.

Interests - Cars... Boat (eventually)... Home Workshop (work-in-progress)... computers... music... farming (soon, I hope!)... Firearms (eventually).

Just getting back into the "Project car" hobby after a thousand delays... and too many wasted years.

Hi Helix. Sorry about the pix. I always find it annoying myself, when pix are blocked to "Guests" on car forums... Go figure. Maybe you can register for free on Zorce.com. That should solve the problem.

Anyway, like the "quote" in the 1st post says...
    My toys are (1) Evo 6 RS2, with E6 TME air-dam...

    (2) 4wd Lancer 1800 GSR... being converted to E6 TME RS "wide-body"...
It will be extensively lightened and upgraded for AutoX & Time Attack use...
Proflex EVO2 suspension / Active Centre Differential (Evo 8 ACD) / FP Turbo /
    Evo X 350mm (ft.) & StopTech 328mm (rr.) brakes / etc. etc.

    (3) My old rwd Lancer 1800 GSR... the FUN Project (Full Rotisserie Restoration)...
Media Blasting... Electrolysis... Weld/Bonding... Spot & Stitch-weld... FoamSeal... You get the idea.

    Then upgrading to 4G93T / Starion IRS / 4-pot & 2-pot Brembos / Starion front suspension /
Power Steering-rack / Starion 16"x8" rims all round etc. etc.

I just got a "SuperMint" Lancer 1.4 EX "parts car" (29 years old...and only 92,000 km) and some interesting used tools for this project (pix) Should help in achieving better "fit & finish."

Yeah dude, that was it. Also, get this, I came on LT one day and the Air Force blocked it the very next day. Bastards. I can see the pics now and HOLY CRAP those are some awesome cars.

^ ^ ^ Thanks for the kind words... but that's before any work was done. The Projects will be a bit more interesting...

    1) First, a complete maintenance re-fit of the real Evo 6 RS2 is planned over the next 6 months:
I'll also use the E6 in AutoX for the next two years "to get my feet wet" and learn the sport.

    2) From Jan. 2013 the FUN begins... Link--> "GroceryGetter!" - Lancer 1800 GTX (A175X.)
That should keep me busy for the next 3-to-3 1/2 years or more...

To keep motivated, I'll try to "stack" the jobs (eg. electrolysis / media blasting / weld-bonding / spot & stitch welding etc.) on the Lancer GTX and the "E6 Clone" one after the other. That way I won't have to set up equipment, material etc. all over again in three years... (boring!)

    3) I need the 4wd 1800 GSR's power sun-roof, power windows, climate control and 4G93 Turbo engine for the rwd Lancer GTX Project; so I'll swap the roof, doors and (ft. & rr.) fenders on the Evo 6 TME RS "Clone" (ie. CM5A 4wd 1800 GSR) for Carbon & GRP CP9A "wide-body" bits at the same time.

Hopefully, that way I'll have a lot of the basic chassis prep. done on the "Clone" by the time the Lancer GTX Project is finished.

Yeah dude, if there's anything that is remotely interesting and non essential, they'll see it then block it immediately. Told you that place sucked. lol
