yo every time u get out of ur whip u get shocked rite??? i get that to and im not sure why....

 

My car shocks me too from the door when i get out. weird. could be the fabric from the seats.

 

it's weird how a lot of us have the same problem...i thought it was just me.

 

its the static electricity built up from us rubbing in the seats. as long as we touch nothing metal, the shocks "stays" with us, until we touch something metal.

none of us would have this problem if we had leather.

 

IDK about that in my other car I have leather and every so often I get jolted by static :lol:

 

maybe you can, but i was explaining why WE experience the shock. I had leather in my mitsu 3g. I don't recall having static shock like with this 08'. at all...

 

The change of weather is the cluprit. You will always notice more of a shock during the winter and less during the summer. If it bothers you that much you can get a grounding kit for your car... although it's just a waste of money imo.

LOL the old static charge build up. One way to remove it is to place a grounding strap to the rear of the car. You will see these on tractors, Ambulances. I think its rubber with copper wire inside this passes the build up the car generates into the ground. It dont look hot but it works. Also if you can maintain a balance of temps your inside to outside there should not be any build up either. But why in the hell get AC right. My issue is trying to keep the damn windows fog free. Anyone?

 

I think its from sitting in the cloth seats...my cloth seats are covered in lint...its a magnet
