anyone know of a good police detector i can get for around 80 to 100 dollars? i heard cobra is a good brand but idk which one is good. LINKS are appreciated
Lol. Cobra's suck. But, for 80-100 bucks that's about all you're going to get. Some of the best are Escorts or Beltronics I think they're called. I think the Escorts are the best even though they are the more expensive detectors, but are worth it. Just like everything.
I was going to mention Valentine, but I've heard of theirs being more of jammers rather than detectors. The way it was explained to me for one of them is that it takes the laser the cop shoots and sends back 1000 other lasers so that it doesn't get a reading. Something along those lines. The cheapest Escort is going to be like $250. I sold mine for like $100 just because it was a year or so old. I probably could've gotten a little more, but the problem is finding someone who will pay that much for it. See if you can't find someone locally or online possibly selling a used one for cheaper. Mine was the Passport X50 model which was really nice. I think they have a newer one now, but mine worked well. Picked up what you wanted and you could change it to not pick up certain bands of radar.
Yeszirr. The V1's are $450-$500. Worth it, I had one but sold it for fast cash. I regret it. Sends a signal back to the radar gun "000". 360 degree protection... mmmmm LMAO. It was worth every penny + it's upgradable. Check out AMAZON or something.. eBay..
Only problem with that is when the cop gets a triple zero reading they're going to be like "wtf" and pull you over anyway. Lol.

Well yes, radar detectors/jammers are illegal. Jammers are the ones I am referring to. I would like just a radar detector but I dont normally go above 70. But apparently there are cops out there that care if its in a 55. 55 is too low a speed limit but I dont care anymore. I just do 65 now.
