It's been awhile. Hello everyone. Here's some recent pics I took. Car is still running great. after about 40-50k miles of the turbo being on the car.

Is this manual or CVT? Please say CVT so that I have some hope for us CVT guys. I'm itching to make my own kit.

Also post some numbers from the dyno.

    FYI: Links don't work.

Thanks. It's the shit. Especially when a car doesnt suspect my little lancer to have a turbo. sneay sneaky.

Very nice. What psi are you running on that? 220 torque is pretty impressive. I'd love to do something similar only keeping the CVT in it's place. I already started a thread about that.

Hmmm makes me wonder why the 5spd can handle that and the CVT can't. Tried to message you but can't get through, clear out the inbox lol.

This is a good question. but its been answered before on the interwebs. i still dont like the idea of cvt but its a great median for those who want to drive a 5speed but cant or those who refuse to learn it.

Yup. Just cleared em. sorry about that.

the cvt can't handle boost and i know this for a fact because a buddy of mine here in so cal lent his cvt to roadrace and while my friend Manny did enjoy the boost, the tranny went to shit. Best explanation I got from the Shop Manager at road race is that the CVT tranny is like a rubber belt, and eventually (come high temps, or high stress of increased torque over stock) the cvt can't take it. If someone is running boost on their cvt, i'd imagine it's either for show purposes, or they have the psi set to like 3-4 lbs. not worth the purchase if you ask me.

I'd rather spend the dough on NA mods to increase it's pep.

And i just recently installed this shiny new knob from Road Race. It's their latest style. Sequential Billet Knob. No way I was gonna make a whole thread just for a new shift knob.
