Trying not to thread jack, however I see there's a gazillion threads out there on "Hey I'm the new guy." So I figured might as well just revive and continue from here. Totally new to the Mitsubishi scene. I decided to get into an 08 Lancer GTS and I fell in love with immediately. It was a toss up between the '10 Forte KOUP or the Lancer GTS, and I couldn't decide since the two share a similar platform in terms of engines (well the 2.4 at least) However I settled on the Lancer since there's so many parts out there for it right now. I've already got a few things going on it from the start, but I'm primarily interested in getting some other goodies like an actual intake instead of the SRI I'm running now, and perhaps a decent exhaust, header, and maybe a big bore throttle body if that's available. I haven't really looked hard for parts just yet so I'm sure there's a lot of sites that you guys already know that offer stuff. If anyone wants to throw links out there, please do. Sorry if it's too "ricey" for some people, but it's personal taste, and I honestly like it. Though it's overdue for some new rims since these are banged up a little bit.

Yes, welcome... I have been trolling these forums for awhile now And As far as the people on the forums are concerned, LT is by far the coolest group of guys. Good info and not a bunch of haters. They tell you honestly how they feel and are not condescending. If something is cool, they will tell you, if they think it's not gonna work, they tell you. I'm gonna give you my take on the regulars here. If I leave anyone out... Sorry Jogenmaru - He is a bevy of knowlege. Guy spends more time on these forums than is healthy, but you can rest assured he will answer a question for you (no matter how dumb my err the question is) Sinestra - Nicest guy here. Can almost guarantee he will make you feel good about your decisions. He has a pretty sick Lancer too JDM - Bossman. He pipes in from time to time to make sure we are ok. Bras - Politically correct one. But deffinately good for his 2 cents. And usually has good advice. H_U_N_K - Deff. the ball buster. Comes up with some random stuff sometimes that just makes you laugh. So welcome! These guys have helped me with MANY decisions on my journey. LT (to me) is by far the most personal Lancer forum. Which reminds me... July is coming fast... It's my 1 year anniversary here.. Don't I get a T-shirt or something
