Ok gents...Thought I'd through some controversy into this forum. First some background. I bought my 04 WRX WRB wagon in June of this year. About a month or two before purchasing the car I drove an 08 STi and loved every second of it. The power, the practicality, and most of all the subtlety. At that point a job offer I had received fell through and alas my dreams for an 08 STi. When I finally bought the car my immediate plans turned to making the car an 04 STi Wagon. It would receive the power, 300hp, classic maybe understated looks for that subtle look, and the practicality. I wanted to be able to thrash it one day and drive distance the next. So ladies and gentlemen, I give you my version of an 04 Subaru WRX STi Wagon. The car when first purchased The mods that came with the car...Rota Subzero wheels, STi catback and Kartboy short shifter. Other than that the car is stock, a fresh pallet if you will.
Now for the modifications because, lets face it, June was a long time ago Mod list Blacked out and cleared headlights From this To this On the car Rally Armors Hellasupertones
Ok now for the meat of the mods... Bloush 18g-xt on the left, stock on the right STi TMIC left, WRX TMIC right WRX splitter and scoop left, STi splitter and cf scoop right Comparison of the scoops As the car sat for about 2 months
Now for how the car sits right now after a few touch ups... STi WRB hood scoop and sideskirts So future mods are to include... STi 6speed trans Getting the big a** dent removed from the rear hatch plus a complete respray in WRB Debadge the WRX, possibly add STi badging STi front bumper and fender flares up front...and if I'm feeling really ambitious maybe STi wide rear fenders And last but not least an Evo 8 or 9 just for playing around, after all everyone needs a DD and this is mine
What's going o with the wastegate actuator on the bigger turbo? It looks bent at the top. Lol at jdmhammer. Looking good. Im not a fan of the wheels though. Are those stockers?
they arent stock wheels. they are Rota Subzeros. he mentioned them on the first post tht the car came with them when purchased.
You are correct. Lol. They remind me of stock Sti rims I guess. I think Sti rims have 6 dual spoke wheels though.
Yeah I'm hoping to try and get my hands on the stock gold BBS STi rims however, word on the street is they are extremely hard to come by. In the end I will prob go with gold 18x8 Rota Grids.
