Before i buy my coilovers i want to know some things. well im going to get some sort of coilovers and here are the questions i want to know. Do i need the camber kit for my lancer? Is there anything else i need so i wont bald the inner side of my tires? If i do need the camber kit is it easy to install or should i just get it done by a professional after the coilovers are installed? I want to get everything at once so if you guys can tell me what else i need i would really appreciate it. also whats a good brand to get for our lancer. i want to get some opinions
It depends on how low you go if you need a camber kit or not. Good brands: Megan, Tein, Eibach. All the big names.
1. one week after you put them on 2. That's all 3. get it done by a pro 4. get a front and rear end alignment 5. the brand all depends on your wants/needs. There is no such thing as the best brand. It's always going to be trial and error based on what you want. Megans or Tiens seem to be a popular choice amongst us fwd lancers.
D2's makes a nice set! i live in the city and i tear into them opretty good and theyve lasted me thus far, bout a year so im happy! with fully adjustables you can take care of all the camber in the front, the rears depending on how low you go will bald the inner tire, but in a year they are just starting to bald! the fronts if you camber them too much they will toe in and dog track, tires are done in like 3 months! lol i know personally haha! the only camber kit made for the rear comes out of singapore, im currently trying to get a set for my whip, no luck yet! Happy shopping though bro
def agree with jogen get it done by a pro and def get alignment that is the first thing they told me to do after i got my coils put up tho it took me a lil while and now i have 2 do it again since i made them lower lol oo and i have megan coils and love em
